Using AutoCAD with SPECXpert

The CAD symbol library on the SPECXpert CD can be used by all CAD systems due to the fact that the symbols are available in original AutoCAD drawing format (dwg), data exchange file format (dxf), or windows metafile format (wmf).

The wmf format can be accessed directly via the CD and copy clipped to memory and pasted directly into a current drawing.

The benefits of using the provided AutoCAD menus are the advanced CAD tools included with SPECXpert, in addition to the standard manufacturer symbol libraries. The advanced CAD tools are designed to simplify the use of AutoCAD by streamlining the drawing process, such as the auto cutting in of door and window symbols into working drawings and the provision of various standard architectural symbols used for presentation, such as cars, trees, people, office furniture, etc.

The menus also provide auto title block set-up for page sizes at different scales, as well as setting text heights to various drawing scales automatically.

These menu systems are designed for the full AutoCAD packages, such as Release 12, 13, 14 and 2000, as well as AutoCAD LT packages versions 2, 95, 97 and 98.

The menu systems provide a user with the same productivity as a full AutoCAD package, using Lisp routines.
